Part Time Client Service Representative

About the role

VCA Ridge Road Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join their part-time team. The position includes working 2 weekdays and Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and answering telephones
• Guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
• Ensuring the facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside

Qualifications

• Personable and highly professional demeanor
• Experience in customer service and scheduling
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and pets
• Basic knowledge of animal care and husbandry
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
