Client Service Representative - Part Time

About the role

VCA La Mirada Animal Hospital seeks an experienced Client Service Representative to join our dedicated team. Our mission is to prioritize your pet’s health and provide exceptional service, exceeding each client’s expectations.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and answering telephones
• Guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care
• Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
• Keeping clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role preferred

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.50 to $22 per hour.
