Program Manager

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by fostering a safe, engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibits role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
  • Safeguard operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
  • Outlines attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensures program tasks are completed effectively.
  • Continually coaches, fosters respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
  • Supports safety assurance by consistently supporting and reporting on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
  • Engages meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
  • Responds promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Communicates and collaborates regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintains accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensures “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implements daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
  • Effective communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
  • Proof of MMR.
  • State-specific requirements.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Cleared tuberculosis test.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Ed, Elementary Ed, Child guidance, Human Services, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Education, Recreation, Child Psychology, the Arts, Sociology, or Child Care; and 6 months of experience working with SA children.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study listed above, and 9 months of experience working with SA children.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; and one year of experience working with SA children.

Qualifications

  • Age 20 or older.
  • Must meet Massachusetts State Requirements.

Skills

  • Ability to identify and submit proof of MMR.
  • Knowledge of state-specific requirements.
  • Proficiency in First Aid and CPR.
  • Clearance for tuberculosis testing.
