About the role
Right At School Childcare Program seeks Educators and Substitute Educators to join our team. Positions are split shift, Monday through Friday, with availability for Before School (6:30am-9:10am/W 10:00am) and After School (2:40pm-6pm) shifts.
Responsibilities
- Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
- Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
- Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
- Communicate effectively with varied audiences including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Mentor and guide children with special needs.
Requirements
- Proof of High school diploma/GED required.
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, Proof of MMR, and Food Handlers Card.
- 18+ years of age.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
- Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
- Respect for and dedication to working with children with special needs.
- A love for children!

Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - 20.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
