Part Time - Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan and execute commercial carpentry tasks.
• Construct, install, and repair structural components and finish materials such as wood, wallboard, and formwork.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and accurately.
• Work from ladders, lifts, or scaffolding at various heights.
• Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs using proper techniques.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial construction as a carpenter.
• Ability to read construction documents and drawings.

Skills

• Preferred: Completion of apprenticeship or trade program.
• Preferred: OSHA certification.
• Preferred: Experience with steel stud framing and concrete formwork.
• Preferred: Attention to detail, teamwork, and safety commitment.
