Part Time Carpenter

About the role

Ace Handyman Services Southern Tier is seeking highly motivated professional Carpenters to join our team. We provide quality craftsmanship for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects in The Southern Tier.

Responsibilities

- Work out of your home on your choice of a full-time or part-time basis. - Travel to job sites in The Southern Tier using your own truck or van. - Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service. - Potential income ranging from $20 to $24 per hour. - Receive benefits such as health insurance, vacation, 401K retirement, performance bonuses, vehicle and tool allowance, flexible scheduling, advancement and growth opportunities, regular pay reviews, consistent year-round work, and more.

Requirements

- Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and demeanor. - Good overall knowledge of multiple trades including Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, Drywalling, and light Plumbing and Electrical. - Excellent customer service skills, including communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 80 lbs. - Own standard set of tools for all trades. - Valid driver’s license and residence within 15 miles of Binghamton. - Background check and drug screen required. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Professional appearance and demeanor. - Documentation and invoicing skills.

Qualifications

- Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman with estimation skills and prior home inspection experience, strongly preferred. - Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks. - Own truck or van. - Current and valid driver’s license. - Residence within 15 miles of the city of Binghamton. - Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong documentation and invoicing skills. - Professional appearance and demeanor. - Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
