Role Overview
Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within established standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety and quality initiatives. Develops individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
Responsibilities
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
- Communicates care plans clearly, advocates for safety, and engages in professional development.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and fosters a healing environment.
Qualifications
- Requires a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree, RN license, and no prior experience.
- PREFERRED qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and less than two years of experience.
- TELEMETRY/CARDIAC experience and BSN degree are advantageous.
