About the role

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and medication use.
• Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, participating in professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, and spiritual factors.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

Requirements

• RN license required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Less than 2 years of experience
• Telemetry/cardiac experience
• BSN
