Med Surg Cardiac Clinical Nurse - Part Time

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care within a Med Surg Cardiac unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Collaboration with the interprofessional team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential. The role requires critical assessment of physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values. It is a safety-sensitive position emphasizing alertness and safe practice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Active RN license
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience
• Telemetry experience is a plus
