Location: New London, CT Position Summary All positions are brand ambassadors and customer service representatives for the Higher Collective brand in our retail locations. All are responsible for exemplary Customer Service, always providing customers with a smooth experience in purchasing adult-use cannabis products that we offer. We're seeking individuals with exceptional personalities, work ethic and who work well in high traffic environments. We are seeking candidates with flexible availabilities who are also able to work nights and weekends. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Position Summary: Budtenders are responsible for fulfilling orders behind the retail counter and issuing pre- packaged products that have been purchased to customers. Budtenders will be given the task of preparing, dispensing, distributing, and administering cannabis-based products under the direct supervision of the Dispensary General Manager. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Entering customer and order information into the point-of-sale system; processing payment; finalizing patient ordersResponsible for inventory and cash reconciliation proceduresPerform new customer consultations as neededMaintain compliances with the Adult Use Marijuana Program rules and regulationsMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresPerform related duties as assigned by supervisorResponsible for interfacing with managers in all departments to ensure smooth running of the dispensaryStays informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations and industry news Requirements High school degree or equivalentExcellent Customer Service Skills, with ability to actively learn about cannabis products availablePrior Budtender experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Office and able to navigate Point of Sale systemsMust have flexible and open availability, including nights, weekends and holidaysMust have the ability to successfully pass a background check annuallyMust have the ability for approval of agent registration card from the DCPMust be able to move about the dispensary, handle various types of equipment and computer systems, including a point-of-sale system Personal Attributes Communicator: You possess strong communication skills and enjoy working with customers and coworkers.
