About the Role

The Part-Time Brand Ambassador – Sampling Representative will support the sales efforts for Artisanal Brewing Ventures’ brands by representing our beer and brand at events, festivals, and tastings. This role involves engaging with customers, educating them on our products, and maintaining a professional image.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers at events to educate them on our beers and company.
  • Set up, break down, and clean pouring stations at event sites.
  • Transport and maintain table displays, equipment, and materials.
  • Pour beers, hand out promotional materials, and discuss beer characteristics.
  • Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times.
  • Support Sales staff as needed.
  • Attend brewery training events to stay current with offerings.
  • Perform other business-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High School graduate; college degree preferred.
  • Passion for the craft beer industry and appreciation of its culture.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly public speaking.
  • Outgoing, energetic, and confident personality.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends with a flexible schedule.
  • Certified Cicerone or Certified Beer Server is a plus.
  • Regular visits to bars, restaurants, stores, and festivals, some outdoors.
  • Valid state driver’s license, maintained throughout employment.
  • Understand that you represent both the company and the alcohol beverage industry, conducting yourself within legal limits and promoting responsible consumption.
  • Ability to lift at least 31.5 lbs. from ground level to a shelf 50 inches from the floor.
  • Ability to move 165 lbs. of kegged beer by sliding it on the floor.
  • Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment background and driver’s license check.
  • Adherence to safety policies and procedures of the worksite.
