About the role
The Bell Attendant plays a crucial role in the Residential Services Team, ensuring residents are well cared for. They greet guests by name, handle luggage, and provide orientation. This position is vital as the first and last impression of the Four Seasons Private Residences.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests passing through the lobby and offer assistance
- Deliver luggage to rooms upon check-in and pick up luggage upon departure, moving it to storage or the front drive
- Maintain proper records of deliveries and pick-ups
- Aid customers with inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
- Perform errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off the hotel property
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
- Comply with Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 1+ years bell/guest services experience in a hotel environment
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, with a high attention to detail
- Flexible schedule, including days, nights, overnight, weekends, and holidays
- Standing for 8 hours per shift and ability to lift and push 50 – 100 lbs
- High school education or equivalent experience
