About the role
Right At School provides before and after-school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals.
Responsibilities
- Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
- Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
- Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
- Communicate effectively with varied audiences including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Mentor and lead a team of educators to ensure high-quality programming and student engagement.
- Meet regularly with the Area Manager to discuss professional progress and team accountability.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Verifiable education/experience required:
- 4-year degree in education, elementary education, or specialty in art/human service (social work, psychology, etc.).
- 2-year degrees and 6 months (910 hours) of experience from the age of 18.
- 5,460 hours of experience (2-3 years) with 6 semesters of schooling or 40 clocked hours of training for school-aged children.

Pay
$25-27.50 per hour (depending on years of licensed group childcare experience and educational qualifications in a group setting).
Schedule
Split-shift schedule: 6:00 am-8:30 am and 2:30 pm-6:00 pm (may change slightly), Monday through Friday. NO WEEKENDS!
