About the role

Right At School is seeking a Part-Time Before and After School Site Program Manager for the 2026-2027 school year, starting in August 2026. The position involves working at two locations: Altura Elementary School and Highlands Elementary.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibits role model qualities, ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a team of staff members.
  • Supports operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
  • Outlines attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensures program tasks are completed effectively.
  • Continually coaches, fosters respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
  • Consistently supports and reports on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants. Identifies and mitigates any potential risks within the program environment.
  • Engages meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
  • Responds promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Communicates and collaborates regularly with the Area Manager to support the outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintains accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensures “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implements daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
  • Current Large Center Director Certificate OR An active Early Childhood Professional Credential (ECPC), Version 3.0, Level 3 or higher or ECPC, Version 2.0, Level 4 or higher.
  • One of the following options:
    • Option 1: Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree in any of the following: Child Development; Child Psychology; Early Childhood Education; Early Childhood Special Education; Educational Leadership and Administration; Elementary Education; Family and Human Development; Family Studies; or Special Education (No experience required).
    • Option 2: Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree in an unrelated field + 10 required ECE courses + 455 hours of verifiable experience.
    • Option 3: Associate’s Degree + 10 required ECE courses + 455 hours of verifiable experience.
    • Option 4: No degree + 10 required ECE courses + 910 hours ECE Courses Intro to Early Childhood Education Intro to Early Childhood Education Techniques Guidance Strategies for Young Children OR Department approved Colorado Pyramid Plus Approach Training ECE Nutrition, Health and Safety Admin of Early Childhood Care and Education Programs Admin: Human Relations for ECE or Intro to Business Curriculum Development: Methods and Techniques ECE Child Growth and Development.
  • 21+ years of age
  • One year of experience managing/supervising employees
  • Proof of a high school diploma/GED required

Qualifications

  • Experience with working amongst competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders
  • Current Large Center Director Certificate OR An active Early Childhood Professional Credential (ECPC), Version 3.0, Level 3 or higher or ECPC, Version 2.0, Level 4 or higher.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program in a childcare/school setting.
  • One year of experience managing/supervising employees
  • High school diploma or GED completed
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field
  • Communication skills: oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn

Benefits

Right At School offers a competitive starting wage of $25-$27.50 per hour, depending on years of experience and educational qualifications in a group setting.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 6:00 am-7:45 am and return 2:00 pm-6:00 pm. Must be able to work before and after Monday through Friday.
