Part Time Before and After-School Educator (Weld County RE-3J Area)

About the role

Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs for local school districts. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by fostering safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities
• Document attendance, incidents, and other observations
• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management
• Support homework completion, lead fun fitness activities, and guide children at play
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
• Maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager for professional progress and team accountability

Requirements

• 18 years old and a High School Graduate or GED
• Current residency in the surrounding areas
• Part-Time availability: Monday-Friday, 2:45 pm-5:45 pm, NO WEEKENDS!
• State Licensing Requirement: 460 hours of supervised group childcare experience or 40 hours of approved training
• Professional references

Qualifications

• At least one year or 460 verifiable hours of experience working with school-age children under 5-13 years of age
• Proof of a high school diploma/GED
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements
• LIVE Scan Fingerprint, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate/Cleared TB, CPR/FA

Pay

$20 per hour (based on education and years of experience in a licensed childcare group setting)

Schedule

Part-Time After-School schedule: 2:45 pm-6:00 pm (Must be able to work Monday through Friday)
