Job Summary
Right At School is hiring part-time Educators to provide after-school programs for Weld County School District Re-3J starting August 2026. The position offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy your summer and secure a position for the fall.
Part-Time Position Details
- Schedule: 2:45 pm - 6:00 pm (Monday through Friday)
- Location: Inside Weld County School District Re-3J
- Start Date: August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year
- No weekends
- Starting Wage: $20 per hour (based on education and years of experience in a licensed childcare group setting)
Experience/Educational Requirements
- 18 years old and a High School Graduate or GED
- Current residency in the surrounding areas
- Required availability: Part-Time Monday-Friday (2:45 pm-5:45 pm), No weekends
- State Licensing Requirement: 460 hours of supervised experience with school-aged children (kinder-6th grade) in a licensed childcare location
- Training/Coursework: Department-approved courses on playground/safety
What You'll Drive The Mission By
- Organize program materials for lessons and activities
- Document attendance, incidents, and observations
- Deliver dynamic daily curriculum engaging children in academic and social character-building
- Model positive guidance and effective classroom management
- Communicate effectively with varied audiences including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
- Maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children
- Support homework completion, lead fun fitness activities, and guide children at play
- Meet regularly with the Program Manager for professional progress and team accountability
Requirements
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements; 18+ years of age
- One year or 460 verifiable hours of experience working with school-age children under 5-13 years of age
- Proof of a high school diploma/GED required
