Part-Time Barista

About the role

Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming Starbucks experience through prompt service, quality beverages, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily store activities such as cash register, catering, and pantry duties with minimal supervision.
• Manage inventory using the computerized Food Service system.
• Address customer queries, support dietary needs, allergens, and special meal requests.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and HACCP compliance; stay updated on industry trends.
• Escalate customer issues and complete training on seasonal offerings and competencies.
• Perform additional tasks to meet departmental goals, ensuring consistent attendance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma; hospitality or food service experience preferred.
• Certifications: Barista Certification and ServSafe Food Handler required within specified timeframes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a moderate noise environment.

Pay

Compensation estimated between $19.00 - $30.00 per hour.
