Part-Time Barista
About the role
A financial services company is seeking an experienced and hospitality-focused Barista / Office Coffee Program Specialist to manage and deliver an exceptional daily coffee experience. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality espresso beverages, maintaining a well-organized coffee bar, managing inventory, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for employees and guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve expert-level espresso and specialty coffee beverages with consistency and attention to detail.
- Maintain high standards for coffee quality, presentation, and customer experience.
- Educate customers and guests on coffee offerings when appropriate.
- Provide outstanding hospitality and customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
- Create a warm, welcoming environment that enhances the workplace experience.
- Build positive relationships through exceptional service and professionalism.
- Independently manage the day-to-day operation of the coffee bar.
- Ensure the coffee station remains clean, organized, and fully operational throughout the day.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate maintenance needs when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels for coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and related supplies.
- Communicate supply needs to management to support weekly ordering processes.
- Receive deliveries, restock inventory, and maintain organized storage areas.
Requirements
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates independently, and is passionate about specialty coffee and customer service. This role is Monday-Friday from 7a-2:30pm, approximately 35 hours a week.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and specialty coffee products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Skills
- Proficiency in coffee service and beverage preparation.
- Customer service and hospitality skills.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Organizational and inventory management skills.

Pay
Competitive salary based on experience.
Schedule
