Part-Time Barista

Role Overview

This position involves preparing coffee shop beverages and food items, operating cash registers, and providing courteous customer service. It requires maintaining a clean and organized environment, ensuring safety and sanitation standards, and managing product stock and displays. The role includes processing payments accurately, promoting store programs and specials, and adhering to company policies on security and product handling. Additional duties may involve assisting other departments based on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and food according to standards
• Operate cash register and process payments
• Stock and rotate merchandise, maintain cleanliness
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies
• Engage customers with information on programs and promotions
• Follow safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines
• Assist with tasks in other departments as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• At least one year of retail or related experience
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service and organizational abilities
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and perform in a varied environment
