Part-Time Barista

About the Role

Responsible for preparing coffee shop beverages and food, operating cash register, and providing courteous customer service. Ensures food safety, cleanliness, and proper stock rotation. Communicates store programs and promotions to customers and maintains a well-organized, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and food items following set standards and procedures.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and handle transactions securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, ensuring availability and presentation.
• Communicate store promotions and assist customers effectively.
• Follow safety, food handling, and PPE guidelines.
• Assist with tasks in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail or related fields preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in varied temperatures and environmental conditions.
