About the role

The Associate Sonographer operates ultrasound imaging equipment to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role involves ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours or registered sonographer
• State licensure may be required
• ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI registry or eligible
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire

• Knowledge of protocols, machine operation, emergency procedures, and radiation safety
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Adaptable to changing priorities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Perform physical tasks like bending and reaching
