About the role
As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the store leadership team in providing exceptional customer experiences, training new recruits, and managing daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return
- Use product knowledge and customer experience skills to drive add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
- Open and close the store as needed
- Process sales transactions at the register
- Communicate and resolve shortages or overages to the Store Manager
- Understand and assist with store sales plans, comp sales goals, and key KPIs
- Avoid misuse of spells and maintain a tidy store environment
- Support the development and retention of a collaborative team
- Perform other tasks as assigned by your Store Leader
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail store experience
- Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
- Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop peers
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to navigate the store, handle merchandise, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
