About the role

As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the store leadership team in providing exceptional customer experiences, training new recruits, and managing daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return
  • Use product knowledge and customer experience skills to drive add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
  • Open and close the store as needed
  • Process sales transactions at the register
  • Communicate and resolve shortages or overages to the Store Manager
  • Understand and assist with store sales plans, comp sales goals, and key KPIs
  • Avoid misuse of spells and maintain a tidy store environment
  • Support the development and retention of a collaborative team
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by your Store Leader

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of retail store experience
  • Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
  • Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop peers
  • Age 18 or older
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to navigate the store, handle merchandise, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
