Overview / Job Summary

The Part-Time Assistant Coordinator, NICHE Events supports the administrative, sales, coordination, and execution aspects of events at NICHE. This role works closely with the Hospitality Operations Manager to assist with client communication, lead generation, event logistics, venue sales, and day-of event execution. While the primary focus is administrative and sales support, this position also actively assists with event operations including setup, teardown, room resets, and physical event preparation. This role will independently oversee events as the sole on-site NICHE representative, managing vendors, timelines, client communication, troubleshooting, and overall execution.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma required. Associated Degree preferred
  • Qualifications: Prior experience in administrative support, hospitality, customer service, sales, event coordination, or client relations required
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused demeanor; excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office, event management software, and CRM or administrative systems; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as events require; ability to lift 40-50 lbs and assist with physical event setup and teardown; strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment on-site
