Part-Time Airline Agent

General Information

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Hours will vary based upon flight schedules. Starting wage $15.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to complete required training.
• Able to read and write English; bilingual skills a plus.
• Must be available to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays.
• Must be well groomed and physically fit.
• Able to attend required training.
• Complete all required training.
• Report any safety hazard or incident immediately.
• Able to communicate using a two-way radio.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• People oriented, highly motivated with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Able to process customers tickets, check baggage, monitor carry-on baggage for size and quantity, and assign seats.
• Able to provide information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements.
• Able to handle denied boarding situations, solicit volunteers, accommodate customers, and provide hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when appropriate.
• Able to enforce safety/security measures and protect sensitive zones.
• Able to assist customers with special needs, such as those needing assistance in boarding.
• Able to complete sales reports.
• Able to work efficiently under time constraints.
