Requirements

Experience/Educational Requirements: 18 years old and a High School Graduate or GED
Must CURRENTLY reside in the surrounding areas
Required availability- Part-Time Monday-Friday (2:45 pm-6:00 pm) NO WEEKENDS!
Start Date: July/August 2026
State Licensing Requirement-Verifiable experience- 460 hrs w/ group supervising 4 or more children (one-on-one care, nanny, and babysitting do not qualify, must be classroom or licensed group childcare type supervision) of school-aged children (must be in this age range -kindergarten-6th grade)in a licensed childcare location and was able to manage children without supervision; OR 40 clocked hours training/coursework department-approved courses playground/safety

Qualifications

You’ll Drive The Mission By:
Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation
Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel
Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children
Mets regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

Skills

Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
Works well in a team environment
At least one year or 460 verifiable hours of experience working with school-age children under 5-13 years of age
Able to lift 25lbs
Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed

Pay

$20 per hour (depending on years of licensed group childcare experience and educational qualifications in a group setting)

Schedule

After School 2:45 pm-6:00 pm (may vary slightly)
