About the role

Part-time After-School Site Program Manager positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year.

Schedule

  • Required Monday through Friday, between the hours of 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm (may vary slightly)
  • Start Date: July 2026

Pay

Starting wage: $20 per hour and up (based on education and experience)

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
  • Support operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
  • Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
  • Provide continual coaching, fostering respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
  • Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants; identify and mitigate any potential risks within the program environment.
  • Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
  • Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs; ensure “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
  • One year of supervisor/management experience.
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management (documentation required prior to scheduling an in-person interview).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare program.
  • Experience working amongst competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
  • High school diploma or GED completed.
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
  • Strong communication skills: oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements (e.g., FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB).

  • A copy of transcripts verifying educational requirements and/or training certificates.
  • Documentation (resume) confirming a minimum of six months of experience working in a licensed childcare setting.
