Responsibilities
- Prioritize duties and manage multiple competing priorities professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of documents.
- Provide a professional front office presence by greeting and assisting visitors to the County Clerk.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, retaining and following detailed instructions.
- Receive and process inquiries and requests in person, by phone, mail, courier, or electronically.
- Manage inventory of office supplies.
- Assist the Administrative Assistant and/or Division Supervisor in preparing Commissioners Court Minutes.
- Review, prepare, scan, and redact various documents for recording and attaching to AgendaQuick.
- Redact sensitive information such as bank account numbers and bond numbers.
- Provide support with statistical reports and document retention.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of job-related clerical experience.
- Strong computer, typing (40 wpm), and data entry skills.
- Good written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and problem-solving, to interact effectively with the public, employees, and elected officials.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe software.
- Valid Texas Driver License.
Pay
Starting salary: $15.30 hourly.
Schedule
Up to 29 hours per week.
