The Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University is seeking part-time adjunct teaching positions in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and the Women’s and Gender Studies Program. Applications are accepted year-round.
Responsibilities
- Teach in-person or online courses in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology or in the Women’s and Gender Studies Program.
- Eligibility varies based on discipline: Master’s or doctoral degree in sociology or related fields for sociology positions; master’s or doctoral degree in sociology, anthropology, or related fields for anthropology and criminology positions; master’s or doctoral degree in Women’s and Gender Studies or related fields with an emphasis on gender and/or LGBTQ+ Studies for Women’s and Gender Studies positions.
- Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level is required.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in relevant field for most positions.
