Responsibilities

• Teach courses in accordance with the college’s academic calendar and course offerings.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the college’s educational initiatives.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching effectiveness and student success.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve teaching methods and course content.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement inclusive teaching strategies that support a diverse student population.

Requirements

• Masters, doctoral, or terminal degree.
• Experience teaching at the college level.
• Ability to teach a variety of subjects within the college’s curriculum.
• Strong commitment to inclusivity and diversity in the classroom.

Benefits

The budgeted compensation for this position(s) is dependent upon enrollment at the below rates. (Compensation is contingent on meeting the enrollment threshold and is reduced if minimum enrollments are not met.)

• $1400 per credit for part-time instructors without a terminal degree.
• $1500 per credit for part-time instructors with a terminal degree.

If scheduled for 13 credits or less per academic year, this position would not be benefits eligible.
