Job Summary
The Department of Geology and Geography at West Virginia University invites applications for part-time adjunct teaching positions. Areas of need include, but are not limited to, Geographic Information Science (GIS), Remote Sensing, Data Analytics, Field Geology, and Subsurface Geology.

Responsibilities
- Teach in-person or online courses in Geology and Geography undergraduate and graduate programs.
Requirements
- A master’s or doctoral degree in Geology, Geography, or a closely related discipline.
- Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Qualifications
- Generally, individuals with a doctoral degree are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses; individuals with a master’s degree are eligible to teach undergraduate courses.
