Key Responsibilities
- Review accommodation requests and supporting documentation, including psychoeducational evaluations, IEPs, 504 Plans, medical records, and other educational documentation.
- Apply established eligibility criteria and accommodation policies to make review determinations.
- Document decisions and supporting rationale within ACT's online accommodations platform.
- Manage an assigned caseload and meet quality and turnaround expectations.
- Navigate web-based systems and online review tools.
- Collaborate with contract reviewers and ACT's Accommodations Eligibility team to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Participate in onboarding, training, and calibration activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive student information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree and/or professional experience in one or more of the following areas: School Psychology, School Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Rehabilitation, Special Education, Disability Services, Clinical Psychology, Educational Diagnostics, Speech-Language Pathology, Related educational, counseling, rehabilitation, or disability-focused fields.
Average Weekly Hours
12-25 hours per week.
Assignment Duration
From late August 2026 through March 2027.
Compensation
$24-$26 per hour.
About the Role
This temporary remote contract position supports the review of accommodation requests for ACT assessments. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sound professional judgment, and the ability to work independently while managing an assigned caseload.
