Job Duties
- Consult with Agencies on their AP functions and business needs and define, map and document the Oracle EBS AP module and system requirements.
- Create or modify and implement human resources processes, procedures for the Oracle EBS GL/Cash module and system requirements, processes, procedures and specifications.
- Consult with the Agencies on their AP functions and identify, evaluate and prioritize system changes based on design requirements and functional specifications.
- Conduct fit/gap analysis with all Agencies’ AP functions and the Oracle EBS AP module.
- Consult with Agencies and develop testing scenarios and with testing activities for the Oracle EBS AP module.
- Consult with Agencies and analyze their AP business needs and work with technical resources to develop functional design for AP reports and other developments.
- Analyze current AP business processes and facilitate transition to best practices as supported by Oracle EBS 12.0.
- Analyze and test proposed Oracle EBS AP module’s systems interfaces, enhancements, and upgrades prior to implementation.
- Evaluate existing and proposed AP applications for process efficiency and systems interface possibilities with the Oracle EBS AP module.
- Customize or modify fields and panels for the Oracle EBS AP module and monitor requests from Agencies for system changes and customizations.
- Lead and collaborate with Agencies and other functional analysts in tracking and resolving Oracle EBS AP module system problems and issues that require advanced AP technical expertise of the Oracle EBS AP module operating system.

- Coordinate activities of consultants, county agency staff and project team to install, configure and maintain Oracle EBS AP module development, testing, demonstration and training systems.
- Create AP business process documentation and write configuration and system data documentation for the Oracle EBS AP module.
- Create AP functional demonstration scripts and conduct system functionality demonstrations.
- Document and work to resolve functional gaps identified during the demonstrations.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and document complex AP functional system problems; develop solutions for more complex and critical AP production problems; ensure that Agency and module AP functional problems are resolved and that the solutions are documented.
- Develop and implement plans to assist in the IBIS Legacy system data clean up and data mapping; and defining user roles, responsibilities and security related to the AP function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and at least three years financial system management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to configure Oracle tables.
- Ability to create a Oracle queries.
- Functional knowledge of Oracle EBS AP application.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including project planning and project monitoring.
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis and financial system implementation.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a wide range of individuals, including making presentations before groups and committees.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively on complex tasks within tight time and budget constraints.
- Advanced knowledge of automated systems testing procedures, data conversion analyses, transaction processing, and troubleshooting applications.
- Demonstrated experience creating business process flows using Visio; writing issue papers, reports, system documentation and user guides using Word; organizing information and doing calculations with Excel; preparing presentations using PowerPoint; and, effectively using Outlook and SharePoint productivity tools.
