Parking Supervisor | Full-Time | Civic Centre Parkade

Responsibilities

• Inspect parking lots several times throughout the day
• Work closely with parking manager throughout events to ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests
• Aid manager with event day operations of parking lots and traffic flow
• Supervise and direct parking attendants according to the parking plan set forth by the parking manager
• Operate/Monitor Parking Systems in our lots
• Afford assistance with enforcement of employee parking program
• Afford oversight of event day checklists for the entirety of the event
• Afford support in setting up and preparing lots for the event
• Report traffic incidents in lots to manager
• Afford assistance with traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operations
• Afford assistance with inventory management
• Afford assistance in responding to guest inquiries and investigating complaints / concerns
• Afford assistance in the continuous evaluation and adjustment of the pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program

Qualifications

• Ability to work extended hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, on-call status, and holidays, as necessary
• 2-3 years of experience in a Parking position
• Some Supervisory experience preferred
• Working knowledge of parking best practices
• Ability to anticipate problems and implement immediate corrective action
• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Ability to lead and give clear and concise direction
• Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
• Previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred

Pay

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
