About the role

The Parking Enforcement Attendant position at Towne Park is a direct report to the Account Manager. This role involves a variety of facility/garage/lot supportive functions such as customer service, cashiering, flagging, cleaning, lot maintenance, operating and maintaining revenue control equipment, filling out reports, issuing parking citations, and opening/closing of booths.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
  • Patrol and monitor each lot to ensure that only authorized vehicles are parked
  • Enforce lots by issuing citations based on our pre-approved guidelines to any non-paid or time-expired parkers
  • Manage lot signage, for example: taking down, repairing, and assembling signs
  • Maintain lot cleanliness by picking up trash, cleaning signage, and other general lot maintenance
  • Trouble shoot parking meters/equipment when applicable
  • Prepare reports and file paperwork regarding violations and citations
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Perform seasonal tasks including snow removal by shoveling, salting, and operation of snow thrower
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record

Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to operate and maintain revenue control equipment
  • Skilled in maintenance and the upkeep of a facility
  • Log information and make mathematical computations quickly and accurately
  • Knowledge and ability in the use of a calculator and fee computer
  • Good written and communication skills, both in writing and verbally
  • Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions
  • Establish and maintain effective and appropriate relationships with the public, agencies and other employees
  • Operate motor vehicle
  • Stand for the length of the shift
  • Lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds

Pay

Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay range for this position is $16 per hour. Commission based on tickets paid.

Schedule

Work Schedule: 8 hours with combination of day and night shifts.
