Responsibilities
- Runs a very active Marquam Hill patient/employee parking lot
- Ensures appropriate number of cars are kept on location
- Parks cars in an appropriate fashion
- Maintains and cleans the lot
- Directs incoming customers to available parking spaces
- Counts vehicles on location as needed
- Issues violation warnings to tenants and visitors
- Patrols transient and reserved parking levels
- Provides assistance to customers
- Controls traffic at entrances and exits
- Assists in maintaining and repairing parking equipment
- Reports accidents, violations, and other issues
- Communicates debris, spills, and other concerns to the office
- Substitutes for Valets when necessary
- Knows all areas of the garage and major streets in the area
- Assists Facility Manager with other duties
- Less than high school education or one month related experience
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record
- Availability to work special shifts as needed
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Basic math skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
