Key Responsibilities
- Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Act as traffic controller to direct incoming guests to available parking spaces.
- Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift to ensure garage does not overfill available spaces.
- Ensure vehicles are parked according to lot layout, spacing, and site instructions.
- Distribute parking validation instructions or signage information when applicable.
- Adjust cones, barriers, and directional signage as needed.
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
- Monitor pedestrian crossings and ensure safe vehicle-pedestrian interaction.
- Pick up litter, debris, or objects that could damage vehicles or cause hazards.
- Aid with seasonal tasks such as rain prep, heat precautions, and storm readiness.
- Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns, relay information to Operations Manager or Shift Lead as necessary.
- Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
- Follow established safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
- Able to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security.
Physical Demands
- Constantly move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift.
- Stand for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift.
- Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather.
- Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
