Parking Lot Supervisor- Wailua River ( Part Time )

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise parking attendants, cashiers, and enforcement staff assigned to the lot.
• Oversee vehicle entry/exit flow, lot occupancy, and space availability to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure staff provide courteous and timely service to customers.
• Monitor adherence to parking rules, ticketing procedures, and fee collection.
• Handle and resolve customer concerns, disputes, or incidents professionally.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of the lot.
• Train new staff on procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations.
• Verify accuracy of collected revenue and ensure timely bank deposits or handoffs.
• Cook up with maintenance or technical staff for repairs to gates, pay stations, or signage.
• Maintain accurate records of staffing, incidents, and shift activities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in business or related field is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in parking operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with parking management or POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A valid driver’s license with a good criminal record.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Work is performed outdoors and indoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the parking area.
• May require lifting or moving equipment or supplies up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to vehicle noise, traffic fumes, and outdoor elements.
• Must be able to respond quickly in emergencies or high-traffic situations.
