PARK SPECIALIST

Responsibilities

• Collect fees at the gatehouse every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Maintain accurate records of the park’s attendance.
• Greet the public with a pleasant attitude.
• Stay after hours for park rentals and ensure a pleasurable experience for rental clients.
• Close‑out the gatehouse revenue report at the end of the business day.
• Open and close the park and its facilities during park hours.
• Perform light custodial duties, including vacuuming the office area, cleaning restrooms, and sweeping floors.
• Operate the cash register and work in the gift shop.
• Greet customers in the Interpretive Center and answer customer inquiries.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong people skills; ability to present a positive image and interact well with the public.
• Ability to operate a cash register.
• Ability to answer telephone calls.

Pay

$16.15 – $20.10 per hour (minimum to mid range).
