About the role
As Park Manager you supervise park employees, act as the main guest liaison, and ensure every visitor has a safe, enjoyable experience. You will interact with families and children of all ages while overseeing daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Attend to guests promptly, greet them warmly, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance to meet production goals.
- Create weekly employee schedules and audit attendance, timeclocks, and payroll records.
- Hire, onboard, and train qualified employees for open park positions.
- Handle personnel matters including performance evaluations, terminations, resignations, and job-abandonment cases.
- Open and close the park using keys or security codes.
- Communicate and document any guest or employee issues.
- Operate the check-in process: collect liability waivers, guest information (name, address, email, phone) via iPad, and process payments (cash, credit/debit card).
- Manage cash flow, register daily transactions, and provide accurate change.
- Verify billing accuracy on the POS system.
- Stock and organize the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
- Manage birthday party bookings, setups, and ensure customer satisfaction during events.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for supplies, orders, or service requests.
- Collaborate with corporate teams and communicate through designated company channels.
- Monitor snack inventory and place orders with specified vendors to replenish stock.
- Regularly walk the park floor to ensure safety, enforce park rules, and address hazards.
- Clean restrooms and sanitize park structures (tables, chairs, playground equipment).
- Schedule and coordinate family events, ensuring smooth operation.
- Participate in weekly development meetings.
- Verify correct quantities of incoming supplies and communicate with suppliers.
- Audit Amazon accounts nationally across all Kids Empire parks.
- Assist with operational support via company chat channels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
- Constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
- Frequent use of both hands and good finger dexterity.
- Ability to work in noisy environments (e.g., children yelling, music).
- Tolerance for hectic, busy work environments during peak hours.
- Ability to work in confined or tight spaces.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable working with children.
- Proficient in operating an iPad.
- Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
- Leadership abilities and experience resolving conflicts.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
