About the Role

The Branch ISD Special Education Department serves students pre-K to age 26 with mild to severe disabilities and works closely with local schools in Branch County to provide instructional services, hearing and vision services, physical and occupational therapy, speech, psychological, and nursing services. This position supports students in their classroom(s) under the guidance of an assigned teacher.

Responsibilities

• Support students in classroom settings as directed by the assigned teacher.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of work.

• Engage in professional development as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with students with disabilities (required).
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Requirements

• Satisfactory background check.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.
