About the role

The Branch ISD Special Education Department serves students from pre-K to age 26 with mild to severe impairments, working closely with local schools to provide a range of services including instructional, hearing and vision, physical and occupational therapy, speech, psychological, and nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Support students in their classroom based on their level of disability
• Work with assigned teachers to fulfill expectations of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of work
• Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor, positive attitude, and outgoing personality
• Maintain confidentiality and be open to professional development

Qualifications

• A desire to work with students with mild to severe impairments
• Previous experience is preferred

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent
