About the role

The Branch ISD Special Education Department provides a range of services including instructional, hearing and vision, physical and occupational therapy, speech, psychological, and nursing services to students from pre-K to age 26 with mild to severe impairments.

Responsibilities

• Support students in their classroom based on their level of disability
• Work closely with assigned teachers to fulfill job requirements
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of work
• Show a pleasant and professional demeanor, positive attitude, and outgoing personality
• Maintain confidentiality and be open to professional development

Qualifications

• A desire to work with students with mild to severe impairments
• Previous experience is preferred

Requirements

• A Michigan valid driver's license
