Qualifications/Certifications
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 60 semester hours from an accredited educational institution with at least 30 semester hours in general education core curriculum and/or child development and education or successful completion of the ParaPro test with a score of 457 or higher.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
- Bilingual; required to be fluent in English and fluent in the language of the students for the allocated position.
- Must be approved by District ESOL Coordinator.
Requirements
- Valid State Driver’s License.
Pay
Based on classification and pay plan for Classified employees:
- Grade 18: $16.68 per hour (HS Diploma and ParaPro min score 457 or 60 hrs college credit in core curriculum).
- Grade 19: $17.06 per hour (AA / AS or higher).
Schedule
9 Month Hours/Day: 6.500
