Interim HealthCare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Paraprofessionals to support students within the Derry School District. This is a full-time, school-based position in a collaborative educational environment. Available Positions & Schedule

• Derry Middle School: Monday-Friday, 7:55 AM - 2:30 PM
• Derry Elementary School: Monday-Friday, 8:50 AM - 3:10 PM
• Derry DEEP Program: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 2:50 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students throughout the school day.
• Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals as directed by the classroom teacher and school team.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support classroom instruction and encourage student engagement and independence.
• Assist with transitions, classroom activities, and daily routines.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain student confidentiality and follow school policies and procedures.
• Help students build confidence, independence, and successful learning habits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, education, healthcare, or human services is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• Ability to follow classroom and behavioral support plans.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including assisting students as needed.
