Discover a rewarding career at Arcare. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Paraprofessional to join the Arcare Center for Education team. In this role, you will play an active part in supporting each child’s growth and development. As a valued part of the classroom educational team, you will assist with lesson planning, classroom activities, and participate in classroom, playground, and walking field trips. This position helps ensure program standards and requirements are met and maintains a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Assist with lesson planning and classroom activities
- Participate in classroom, playground, and walking field trips
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for students
- Adhere to all performance and outcome standards set by the approved program
- Attend all staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Able to lift and safely hold 40 pounds

Schedule
