About the role
We are seeking passionate Paramedics dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care, utilizing both basic and advanced medical skills.
Responsibilities
- Assessing call situations and determining appropriate actions following Paramedic protocols
- Using medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to deliver advanced care
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information
- Leading scene and unit management as a team leader when required
- Driving the ambulance during emergency responses
- Collaborating professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel
- Participating in community programs to promote a positive image and build community relations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License and trauma certification (PHTLS or equivalent)
- Valid Driver's License and compliant driving record
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications
- Successful physical agility test and healthcare work experience preferred
