Paramedic
About the role
The Paramedic role provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical services to patients in need
- Perform basic and advanced life support procedures
- Transport patients safely between facilities
- Document patient care and treatment in accordance with protocol
Requirements
- Completion of Paramedic Course
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current BLS certification
- PIFT Certification within six months of start date

Pay
The base range is $25.24 to $34.16 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
