Role Overview: The ED Technician provides patient care under medical direction and supervision, supporting physicians and nursing staff. They collect clinical and psychosocial data, report findings, and assist in delivering direct and indirect patient care aligned with hospital policies and standards. The role emphasizes patient advocacy, innovative care, and collaboration to ensure high-quality healthcare services. Responsibilities: Support clinical operations, gather pertinent patient information, adhere to policies, and report findings to the RN and ED Attending. Contribute to achieving organizational goals of excellent patient care and nursing excellence. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold current EMT-Paramedic certification in Florida, with BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of one year of paramedic experience and graduation from an approved paramedic program are required. Preferred candidates have clinical skills in pre-hospital and critical care transport.
