Paralegal Supervisor

This role is with a mid-size boutique defense firm in Walnut Creek, CA.

About the role

The Supervising Paralegal will manage a team of 4 paralegals while actively assisting on cases. Billable hour requirement: 1,000–1,200 hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 4 paralegals
• Assist on civil litigation defense cases
• Meet annual billable-hour target of 1,000–1,200 hours

Requirements

• Experience in a Paralegal Supervisor or management position
• Experience managing a team of similar size
• Background in insurance defense, construction defect, premises liability, business litigation, or related practice areas
• Ability to work primarily onsite in Walnut Creek for the first 3–6 months

Pay

$120,000 – $140,000 per year (base salary range: $130,000 – $140,000).

Schedule

Onsite for the first 3–6 months, then transition to a hybrid schedule.
