Responsibilities
- Represent clients in various types of insurance claims including property damage, water damage, mold damage, and theft claims.
- Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence and support client cases.
- Prepare and file necessary legal documents and pleadings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing parties, and insurance adjusters.
- Advise clients on their rights and options under state and federal laws.
- Participate in case strategy meetings and trial preparation.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in Louisiana.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in personal injury or insurance defense.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
While not required, candidates with experience in handling complex insurance claims, particularly those involving water damage, mold remediation, and business interruption, are preferred.

- Knowledge of Louisiana insurance laws and regulations.
- Experience with discovery and document review processes.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
